Delete your AirportScout account

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, sign-in credentials, and gamification stats. Wait-time reports you contributed are kept in anonymized form — your identity and any comments are permanently stripped, leaving only the airport, wait time, and timestamp, which cannot be linked back to you.
How to delete your account
- In the app. Open Profile → Delete account and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.
- By email. Send a request to support@airportscout.app from any address. Include the display name you used in the app, if you set one, so we can find the account. We complete email requests within 30 days.
You do not need to uninstall the app first, and you can create a new account afterwards at any time.
What is deleted
- Your account and its random user identifier
- Sign-in credentials (email, Google, or Apple link)
- Display name, points, badges, and leaderboard stats
What is kept
Your past wait-time reports remain in anonymized form: the airport, checkpoint, line type, reported wait time, and timestamp. The link to your account and any free-text comment are permanently removed, so the remaining data cannot be associated with you or any other person. Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.
